Missy is an up-and-coming Recording Artist and has recorded in Nashville, Tennessee. She loves to sing the old Country Classics such as Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Leona Williams, Connie Smith, and Ray Price. Missy was born August 17th, 1967, here in Illinois, and is married and resides in the small community of Cowden. She has been in this area her entire life. Missy grew up on a small farm in rural Tower Hill. Missy has had the privilege to perform with Lloyd Wood, David Church, David Frizzell, Leona Williams, Mel Tillis Jr., Tim Atwood, and Gary Abbott. She has performed at several local venues. These include Boot City in Terre Haute, Indiana, Southern Illinois Steel Guitar Show, Effingham Performance Center, Long Hollow Jamboree in Goodlettsville, TN, and also area opry’s in Illinois. Missy has been singing since she was five. She started in a little country church where her family all attended. Missy respects her parents for raising her in a Christian home. Missy sang in the school choir through her Jr. High and High School years and has continued to sing.
