Janice Hunter grew up in Rural Chatham, Ontario as a dairy farmer’s daughter. She is no stranger to hard work and is dedicated to sharing her talents with others in the music industry. She practiced piano from the age of four and has extended her talents to the guitar later in life. ​She bought her first guitar at age 28 and jumped back into the world of music. Her first piano teacher was an 88-year-old pianist who had such a wonderful disposition. Writing and composing music along with the occasional gig here and there. ‘It actually took me learning the guitar to refine my piano skills” – Janice Hunter.
